C.A.R.S. (Custom Automotive Refinishing Service) began in my dreams many years ago,
I am Corey Ringo and I live, work and create in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
At a young age I began to spend long hours drawing cars, decorating them
with flames and other designs.My mother and father both had a deep love and admiration for older cars
, and took me to car shows as often as they could.
My first car was a 1964 Dodge Dart with push-button automatic transmission, and I spent countless
hours working and playing and keeping it running. Then I bought a 1970 Chevelle
Malibu for $500 over the course of several years it took on a life of it's own and ended up
valued at over $30,000 and took several trophies in local shows.
While looking for a new job, I began to really think about where my dreams were headed.
What I really wanted to make my life become was to draw cars, design them and working on them,
and I thought no one would give me a job doing that! LOL
But, a good friend gave me a chance to get my feet wet, prove myself in the
autobody field.... and I took it. I started out just taping off cars to be painted, some sanding and prep work
and ten years later I was painting big rigs and trying to get into the custom painting field. I painted anything standing still....
water cooler, drink bottles, signs..the ideas were limitless and I knew I had to find a way to make my dream come true.
Now, 19 years after buying my first car, I can, and will paint anything at least once and sometimes
twice so if you need your car, truck, bike, mailbox, helmet or even your lawn mower painted, I'm the man who can do it!
Therefore.. I present to you, my showcase, C.A.R.S.Together, we can take your ideas
and put them into reality...or take one of mine and we'll come up with something we're both proud of.
